Final paving continues for
Livingston’s Park Street project
LIVINGSTON—Now that all the concrete work has been completed,
crews working on Livingston’s Park Street project are now paving the final stretches of road that needed to be resurfaced.
Tom Etchart, Project Manager and spokesperson for Knife River Mountain Region office
in Belgrade, said crews will be working at least one more day to complete the paving along Park Street from South B Street
to Bennett Street. With this work going on, Etchart warns motorists to be aware of side street closures and one-lane traffic.
Out on the
Frontage Road, Etchart said topsoil and gravel are done. Crews will work approximately one more day to finish paving the Frontage
Road.
Next week, crews will also be working on approaches that tie to Park Street, which means the side streets will be
temporarily closed.
Following the completion of this work, Etchart said they will conduct some miscellaneous
clean up. After which, chipping is scheduled to take place around August 4th and 5th. This will complete
the entire project.
Once again, motorists are urged to watch for flaggers and
heavy equipment and be alert to temporary traffic control signs. Motorists are also asked to refrain from using cell phones
in construction zones.
Weekly project updates will appear in the Livingston
Enterprise and circulate to other news sources. Construction updates will also broadcast locally on portable radio frequency
1610 AM. For more information or answers to specific questions, visit www.swmontanaroads.com or call Tom Etchart at (406) 388-6832 or Clint Tinsley at 406-222-1142.
